11: M-m-m-my Tahona

When we last left our heroes, Matt and Ben were deep inside Disney’s Cave of Wonders (La Cava del Tequila at Epcot’s Mexican Pavilion). After a highly enjoyable flight, something unfamiliar arose from off of the menu, challenging the duo to sample the sweet nectar of the blue agave. Join us as we explore, a heretofore unknown type of tequila known as… Tahona.

Actually, tahona is the old-school method of making tequila, dating back centuries, but the term was new to us. We love to learn and homework is encouraged (in this case). We sampled Volcan cristalino anjeo and El Tesoro reposado and it was gooooooood.

HELP US OUT: leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, tell your friends and MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you know where we can get Volcan or El Tesoro anywhere in the southeastern part of the United States, LET US KNOW! We’ve got to have it.

Thanks for listening. Let us know what you’d like to hear or ask your questions. We are on FaceBook, Twitter and Instagram. Hit us up.
